psychotronic weapons and devices for sleep induction

...In 1975, in the USA, a military experiment was published where pulsed microwaves produced, in the brain of a human subject, an audio perception of numbers from 1 to 10...[/b]
      this quote was taken fromhttp://istina.rin.ru/eng/ufo/text/360.html

it mentions lights and sounds being able to affect the brain, the way brainwave generator works. evidentally the russians had known about this, it talks of their experiment called "radioson" where sleep was induced using radio waves. This could be saving grace for people suffering from insomnia, yet the same tech can be used to make people hear voices in their heads, causing humans to beleive themselves mentally ill. Sony has patents pending on devices using ultrasound that can simulate video games in peoples mind http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117,12780...3-13762,00.html

I myself would like to try sony's idea

      more reading http://www.aisjca-mft.org/braindist.htm

i ran a google search for the russian "radioson" experiments, hoping to find information to construct a device that would promote sleep, without disrupting sleep, (like the brainwave gnerator does with its annoying sounds), no luck, just a whole bunch of sites written in languages that i cant read

The idea is a pretty solid and interesting one. I remember when I first discovered Brainwave Generator I was pretty thrilled at its ideas. But after the novelty wore off, I got to thinking about how much we really have no idea about this stuff and how much weird altering we could be doing to ours brains with this software/equipment.

I would hope Sony studies the effects of this completely, because whos to say 10 years after using this product the minds so trained to recognize senses "internally" that it can't tell between what comes externally and what comes internally. Kind of reverse-evolution of our minds. Dreams are engineered so that we know they aren't real, and we can tell between dreaming and waking life when it really comes down to it. (Even if you can remember lucid dreams, and remember the experiences completely, you'll know it was a dream when you wake up.)

Just a little babbling from me. Not trying to bash the concept at all, I'd like to see it work, I just don't want it screwing up people's perceptions of reality too much.
