I saw a book on Shamanism a number of years ago(the title escapes me now) whose basic premise was that the ancients knew of a variety of trance poses that would put one in contact with specific Entities or alternate spaces. According to the book nearly every ancient statue/image/figurine contained information of this sort. |

I have wondered about sleeping at an angle before, and even contemplated removing the bottom legs of my bed (purely on intuition). It just seems right to me. And, esoteric teachings aside, it's perhaps a more natural and pleasant way to sleep. We assume that sleeping flat is best (mainly because that's how beds are made), but is it really? |
