      I transformed into a wolf..

THe first part of my dream i remember i was sleeping in a shed-turned-cabin. i was dreaming and/or remembering (yes, within my dream) about my dad's apparently haunted childhood. i guess he wasn't meant to have children...

my family was packing up to move away, and my job was to pack everything in the shed.. it was like a miniature house really, complete with an attic! anyway. somehow i appear at my 2 aunties homes and then i get an invitation to smoke some sort of powerful drug..which i do. i remember everything being so clear in the foggyness of my dream after that point..

i was in my house and my brother and i decided to go for a walk. apparently
i had the power to shape shift into a wolf/dog. it was so much nicer. and i felt so free. we ended up going to this gangsturrr house to score some more of the strange drug. i felt so happy because i felt waay freeer being a wolf than a person

i cant really remember what happens after this point(thats how dreams tend to be..)
but i do remember the spirit that haunted my dad tried to scare me away into the wilderness.
my brother ended up throwing a party, i chewed someone's leg in a doglike fashion, then transformed into my human self again, and fell asleep alone in an attic.

then i woke up. does anyone have any insight as to what this dream means???

Hmmm... in real life, have you ever wanted to be a different animal? (I know I have) Maybe you try to fufill this in your subconsious or something? Or you're connecting with your more primal side, and you interpret this side of you as a canid of sorts. Or maybe it was the drug that allowed you to get in touch with your inner wolf. I dunno.

I've had dreams about walking on four legs, though I've never completely shifted in my dreams before. I also had one where I had the opportunity to become a wolf and join this big pack, but I turned down their offer and stayed with my family instead. Then we were camping in the woods and five big, stocky wolves came. One of them toughed noses with me. I guess that was their way of forgiving me or something.

Well, you do have issues that you inhereted from your father. What you will need to do is get a clearer idea of what these problems are and then determine a way of addressing these problems in your dreams, to undo whatever the problem seems to be.

The Shapeshifting into a dog is a bit bewildering. Men walk. dogs walk. I can see the advantage to shapeshifting into a bird. But the advantages of being a dog are not very apparent. There is the momentary relief of being rid of Human Responsibilities. Human being have alot to live up to. But you should realize that it is probably no easier, being a wolf, if you were to be a fulltime wolf. Wolves have Packs. Wolves are more involved in Rank and Status arrangments than even people. Non-alpha wolves are not even allowed to have sex. So, anyway, being a wolf for five minutes may seem wonderful, but that is because it was a bit of a change for you, a vacation from your Humanity.

You are probably under a great deal of unremitting pressure and so you probably could use a vacation. If you are young, you are a great deal out of luck. I just thought of it just now, but young people really don't get a vacation in their entire life, until their first Spring Break. Before that it is school and family and work -- if it is not one thing, it is another. Becoming a dog is the closest thing you have ever had to having a vacation and 'getting away from it all'.

yes, everyone who has ever enjoyed drugs, will probably have drugs in a dream at some future time. It is an odd feeling being high in a dream. Afterall, we know that within the dream we didn't actually take any drugs, but still the mind is able to present something of the experience. However, we should evaluate the occurrance and realize that the mind could probably simulate the same euphoric state without the necessity of superimposing the symbolic catalyst of taking a dream drug. But that is something I would need to do more thinking about. Perhaps one need only suggest the desire within a dream... "I would like to be very Euphoric now" and see whether some altared state is possible on demand.

perhaps you feel stronger as a wolf. This would explain the connection between the gangster's house and your ability to transform. You're seeking some way to escape from your current reality but don't feel strong enough. In my mind, a wolf represents a predatory person or a criminal. Therefore, if you could change your shape you could fulfill your ambition to experience a new life, or at least a break from the life you're living at the present.
