Virtually recreate dream spaces in 3D modeling software or house building games?

After hearing about people drawing environments from their dreams, then playing Fallout 4 with its house building features, I had the idea of quickly recreating a room of a house from a dream I just woke up from. Has anyone used 3D architectural tools or Sims-style house building games to recreate houses from their dreams? I feel like this would be a great visual way to remember my dreams, and it would be an added bonus if I could then walk around this area in a first person view and recreate the movements I made in the dream.

Negative, but I often use 3DS Max - for other purposes. You can quickly assemble a house (relatively easy) or other places which dont have too many weird forms.

3DS Max is a 3d modelling tool used for various video games, it's quite big and probably not what you want purely for lucid dreaming.

You could try 3DS' little free sister, Gmax.
Similar free tools are Blender, Milkshape 3D (super easy to use but shareware), google sketchup and Maya.

For the sole purpose of building LDs, milkshape would probably be the best, but you only get a 30 day trial..

You can also use Valve's Hammer from the Source SDK. It's actually a map editor for the Source Engine, but it is super easy to use and probably the most useful. It is also free.

      Woo! Fellow vault dweller.

You could build the houses in games like Minecraft or Garry's Mod.
Garry's Mod especially, considering all the available elements you can use for building all kinds of things. I've recreated some things from my dreams in that game, but not too often.

I have tried making dream environments using blender, but give up fairly quickly, because I'm no good with 3d modeling. Its hard to get the same feel of what I felt. I don't expect it to be perfect, but it just doesn't even look like what I want it too
