      Greetings to you all!

Hello everybody, thought I'd introduce myself.

I am Midmod and have been interested in Lucid Dreams for roughly about two and a half years. Despite all my efforts I have still not had a single LD! Sounds incredible I know, but it's true. Even though I think this would put most people off I am still trying (because I know it is possible), so maybe joining this forum will help focus my attention a little more on the subject?

So, err... that's all I can think to write at the moment. Hope to speak to you all soon .

      WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!!

I hope that you can find what you are looking for here, and I would suggest you visit the general discussion section so you can see about being adopted by one of our senior members, and resident lucid experts. They can help you with any questions you might have about lucid dreaming and share their experiences with you, hopefully inspiring you to become lucid as well...

      Good luck!

Have you developed your dream recall? If it's not quite as advanced as it could be, perhaps you've had a few and forgotten them upon waking... Also remember you could have had them earlier in the night and success dreams wiped your memory clean of any lucid ones.
Each new day is a chance to turn it all around.

Don't tell anyone... but this forum is slowly straying from an all dream forum to a "senseless banter" one.... haha...

But seriously if you are motivated...

Here are things you should do.
      1. Make a dream journal. Record every dream. Save it in a folder or something and call it the date, make a note thing on the save thing if there is something important you want to see later, such as a dreamsign. At the end of the dream log you wrote for that night, write something like, "Possible Dream signs: Driving a car, getting chased by Arnold Shwarzanaggerer (possible homosexuality) etc. " Then maybe you could write either what you should do to make this a dream sign or something such as do a dream check every time you are getting chased or being homo sexual Just kidding.
      2. Do reality checks (only if you want to, but if you do it right it will help). Don't do them half-ass or they don't do anything. Consider that you might be dreaming. Think "what if this was really a dream? Could I change the numbers on my watch?" Look at your watch. Try to make it change. Close your eyes and look back (sorry if I'm acting like your a newb, but just trying to be helpful). You should know the procedure.
      3. Anything else you wanna do. Right now I'm trying to get more motivated. I haven't been doing dream journal. I have been trying to relax more. I want to be generally happier. "A change of lifestyle can induce lucid dream." Someone said that once, I don't know who though. Right now I feel GOOD. I'm ranting now. I'm gonna listen to some Brainwave entrainment before I go to sleep.
      4. Have fun with it. Don't get stressed. If you have some nice dreams, settle with that. They should come with motivation and hope. I hate having to be all locked up inside my stupid "regular" world or whatever. I love to dream...

      I hope I was helpful. [/list]
