      A Person Showing Up Repeatedly

      For several years now I've been having dreams involving a person I used to know. Maybe once every few weeks, but sometimes they occur several nights in a row, or several nights in a week scattered throughout the week.

      Other times they won't appear for weeks or months, but they keep popping up in there.

      Any idea on specific people that keep popping up in dreams?

      Sounds to me like it's just a recurring dream character, they're quite common, a lot of people have them.
