    Black smoky Bull

by Benmct on 04-19-2017 at 02:54 PM
Let me start off by saying that my memory of dreams is extremely limited.

I recently had this Dream/Nightmare that was similar to one I had had around a month before.

A bit of info on myself: I am 14 and in school. My in-dream language is almost always in English, but I have recently moved to a German speaking school in the countryside that is rather stressful.

My Dream/Nightmare starts off with me, my family and two other younger people that I hadn't met before. The weather is a dull grey, but there are light patches of snow on the ground. Despite the insufficient amount of snow, we have all just skied to the bottom of a rather steep hill. The hill ends abruptly, so we look around for a bit and try to get back up, but because we still have the skis on, we are always slipping back down. At this point an element of fear and panic is introduced, and at this point I do no know why. I get the feeling that we should be getting back home REALLY quickly. Something is out there and is coming in our direction. I urge everyone on, but I can no longer see the two people from before.
We are now no longer in our skis and we are running towards our house over the massive field that sits in front of it. The field is surrounded by thick forest. Suddenly, as I am running I hear the roar of a Bull from the left side of the field. The sheer panic and terror that this roar creates inside of me, makes everything else seem devoid of hope and happiness. At that moment a part inside of me just wants me to abandon my family, as they are slowing me down anyway, run away by myself and hide. I press on and open up the gate for my family to get through. The Bull roars again. I run up the stairs to the front door and look back. Suddenly, out of the woods come the two people that had disappeared before. They are sprinting towards the house, trying to get away from something. I know they are not going to make it. They are simply too far away. "All hope for them is already lost." I mutter and close the door. I tell everyone to remain quiet, turn off all the lights and hide, but some of them seem oblivious to what has just happened. "GO!" I shout. My Grandma is having none of it (how did she get here?). She starts turning lights back on. I groan and head to the window. Suddenly all sound stops. The world goes slow.

Outside our fence, sniffing the air is the biggest Bull I have ever seen. It is a slick black, and when I say black, I mean that its horns, body, hooves and eyes are a pitch black. Its body seems to be shimmering on the edges like smoke. It is still. Memories from other nightmares begin to fill my head, where this Bull has haunted me and my family before. There are people getting chased, running people getting impaled on its long horns, and that terrible roar. The one that suck all joy out of the world.

This is where my dream ends. I am really confused, because I am not normally afraid of bulls, and I have never before seen that bull. If anyone has an Idea of what it could possibly mean, please tell.

    Thanks,
    Ben.
