    Three weird dreams

by Delphinus on 07-31-2011 at 09:48 PM
    First Dream:

My brother and I were at the Royals game. Instead of the normal Kauffman Stadium, though, the seats were located in a field around the baseball field on an incline. This one guy stood up the entire game, and my brother and I and the rest of the people in the section were yelling for him to sit down, since he was blocking our view of the game, but he wouldn't listen to us. Finally, I heard a crack of the bat, and a foul ball hit him in the head, and he collapsed. The entire section cheered and applauded.

    Second Dream:

My roommate and I went to see Star Wars Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith. Instead of it being a normal movie theater, it was an ampitheater, with seats located all around the theater in a circle. We were confused by this until the movie started, and it turned out to be a live action play. The actors were TERRIBLE. They were all asian (which had nothing to do with how bad they were, but they all had Chinese accents), and they had no emotion. It sounded like they were just reading off of notecards or something. Nathan Fillion was sitting in the seat right below our row, and we all three started yelling out funny movie references from other films. At intermission, I had to go to the restroom, but the nearest men's room was out of order. It took me ten minutes to get to the next men's room! It also turned out that the theater had run out of Coke, and all they had left was Sprite, so I got some. I took a sip, and it was incredibly watered down. Disappointed, I returned to my seat. Everyone in the crowd was booing at this point and throwing popcorn at the actors.

    Third Dream:

This one is WEIRD. Apparently I was supposed to be some sort of warrior. My enemy was an angel who had fallen to the dark side. Being an angel, he had incredible powers that I could not match, so I made it my goal to recruit an Aztec god, Tetzcatlipoca (don't ask), to help me fight him. One of his minions was my mom's ex-boyfriend, Duane. After we defeated him, Duane was cursed with a permanent invisibility effect, and I was awarded a shirt that had his face on the front of his and the words "Duan is a loser!" on the back. Only when I was wearing the shirt could I tell when Duane was near, as the shirt reacted to his presence by emanating the smell of bananas. WTF???? Like I said, I really don't have any idea what my mind was doing last night.

    Almost!

I was in my friend's house in Indiana, but my girlfriend was there with me. We went go-karting, but at some point we ended back up at my house. A while later, the scene shifted, and I was on my laptop in my living room, talking to my mom. Something about my laptop felt weird. The monitor part felt like it was made of jell-o. I thought to myself, "that's not right... it should be much firmer than that." So I pinched myself, and it didn't hurt. I told my mom, "This is a dream." And she asked me, "Well how do you know?"

We had talked about lucid dreams the night before, so I told her to look at the clouds, and how they were abnormal. There was a layer of dark clouds lower to the ground, making a weird pattern in the sky. Above them was a layer of white, puffy clouds. The clouds all seemed to blend together with the ground in the horizon, which was strange. I told her all of this, and tried to teleport myself to another location. I woke up. I pinched myself again, and it still didn't hurt, so I thought it must be a false awakening. Unfortunately, after that, I woke up for real.
