      Be my LD parent, yes?

Hey you! Looking for someone to adopt?

If you're an experienced Lucid Dreamer and you're looking for someone to adopt, and you wanna know how motivated those people are, I'll tell you a little about me and my terms to LDing.

Uh, not a long time ago me and my friend decided to follow some instructions towards achieving a Lucid Dream. We were both really excited, and we kept writing down our dreams in a dream journal. After some time I realized how much writing down my dreams helped me remembering them better, so I kept on doing this.
One night, maybe after a month of doing this on/off along with Reality Checks and so on, I experienced something close to a Lucid Dream (sorry to ruin the story, lol). I can't really say it was lucid, because it wasn't like being in a place or experiencing something usual.
I think I was in Sleep Paralysis, which I experienced as pure void, a lot of noise (Imagine yourself listening to your fridge alone at a peaceful night, with very vague squeals in the background. Just like some sound in The Ring movies.), a bright and white light. And the strange thing is I saw one of my eyes as negative (the blacks were white) very far away in all that white, and it even followed the movements of my own observant eye. Shaking my hands and my legs in a fear of being stuck down there (yes, the moment I was entering this Sleep Paralysis it actually felt like slowly falling down in a lying position one or two levels.), I woke up. This lasted probably only a few seconds; three-five probs, and I was so deeply disappointed of myself and so angry at myself for wanting to wake up. Everything was conscious, but without the ability to control (as that's what Lucid Dreams are about - controlling dreams).

There was my half-Lucid-Dream episode. I've never experienced anything like it ever since. Please do ask me questions, or comment.

      Hi LadyEruptio,
If you would like me to try and help you with LDing then I am willing to adopt you. The techniques that I use are WILD and WBTB. I have had success with other techniques, but not nearly as consistent.

      A bit about myself
I live in the UK, I am 45 years old and have had a fascination with LDing since having my first experience about 25 years ago. I haven't posted on the forum for quite some time, but remain very interested in the scientific (and lately the spiritual) side of Lucidity. I posted my WILD technique that I was using about 2 years ago (I don't have the link, but you can find it if you search my posts). I have just ordered a Rem Dreamer, as I have always wondered about the effectiveness of such a device and secondly to be able to experiment without disturbing my partner.

You can PM me if you like.
      Richard
