      Dream Journal Icon proposal

      I propose, perhaps, an icon next to our new avatar thingy at the top left, depicting whether we have a dream journal. If clicked this will take you directly to your Journal. Maybe it also shows how many posts and how many views you've had? Just an idea.

      Eventually other things could be added, like how many monthly tasks have been completed? No. of adoptions? Simple stats like that?

      But anyway, the journal thing will be quite usefull I think.

      Also, are we going to have a sign-in option on the index page again?

      I agree, it would be useful. I hate scavenging through threads to find my journal.

      i could add the journal link, but i'm wondering if it's really needed: you do realize if you click your avatar (in the top left corner) your profile is displayed, which contains a link to your dream journal right? so it's just a couple clicks away... and chances are, you'll just be using it once per visit, so a link probably wouldn't need to recur on every page.


      the stats idea is something i've been considering, but won't be happening in the immediate future due to time.

      I don't know how you'd fit something like that up there? You probably could, but I can't visualize it. Anyway, how about a accesskey? You know:



      ^^ Tuck that away somewhere in the code on each page, then you'd be able to just jump to your dreamjournal with alt+d. It could be one of those nifty "hidden shortcuts" that barely get mentioned anywhere, but are still useful for power users. Like alt+s for submitting - I use that here all the time.
