      Tripping

      Slipping tripping, mind is ripping,
      Colors are tearing
      Sanity is gripping
      Whirling twirling, reality is swirling
      Soul is leaving
      Body is curling
      In the corner, by itself
      Withering, slithering, writhing, thriving
      Becoming one with the ground
      Glancing around, nothing is found
      My heart is beating, I feel it in my brain
      Pulsating, creating, devastating
      Reflections in the mirror
      My skin slowly dissipating
      Melting off my bones, leaving behind a void
      Alone, alone, alone
      These very words echo throughout my hollow being
      In rhythmic rhyme with my heart
      Tearing myself slowly apart.
