Well, I wrote an essay/thesis a couple of months ago for my final exam english exam (for 11th grade) and it was about "Dream Synthesis" The essay itself is kinda long (at least its too long just to post), but if anyone wants to read it I guess I could email a copy.

But, in every paper I write, I usually add a poem or two, so I wanted to share the two that connected with my thesis, about dreams:

Synthesis

Water flows in a circular pattern;
Fire blazes discretely underneath,
The wind waves at a distant Saturn
Solid earth rumbles, beneath.

The body is controlled
By the human mind.
The spirit has its mold,
All is intertwined.

Eyes closed, images blur,
My Soul speaks and I hear
Aware of what we were
Sans my illusion of fear.

Our Eyes act as a portal
To the mind that channels
My soul, old and immortal
Fitting together in panels;
When all three pieces are one,
My ‘self’ cannot come undone.

Night’s Reverie

Darkness surrounds in the form of clouds,
After the long climb to the very top
Of that stony mountain of rocky shrouds.
Steady now, careful you don’t drop.

Wooden doors encase a sturdy shrine
Emitting a painful aura of black fear,
My reality versus illusion, a thin line.
One drop of water from above, a tear.

Mind becoming numb, not even thinking
The door creaks open in a slow fashion
Pulling me towards the darkness, sinking,
Flying towards the only true passion.

Inside, that metaphysical philosophers stone;
My God, I have finally made it to my throne.
