I just figured that I would post this 15 minute simple crap art... I guess its cause I just watched Star Wars -episode III -Revenge of the Sith... lol ... I challenge anyone to make one that is a lot better than this.

Aww photoshop kiddies, this should be fun to see how this turns out... now go get a real art program like open canvas, photoshop, unless used really well, allways looks so, well industrial.

What version are you on anyway? I find you get the best results on older versions, with less filters it's less tempting to use stuff like lens flare

, thats why I use elements, fare more simple program, but far more felxible, if you don't mind not having a pen tool.

Alex D, obviously you have only seen Noob photoshops. Go on Deviantart and see the awesome things people can do, photoshop is certainly a real art program.

Okay, it is a real art program, but really, it's not the best, sure, the most flexible, but still it's not the be all and end all like a lot of people think.

ok peeps... like i said , it was done in just a few minutes. I didnt post the pic to have peeps critique the fact of photoshop being a worthy art program nor did i expect peeps to question my ability as an artist. I think that the artwork I posted long ago speaks for itself.. And I think that I also said that it was "simple crap art". Another part of the art that you most likely didnt notice is the fact that the light saber that I am holding in the pic was hand built out of simple house hold parts. And I made it myself.

Hey babe don't get so defensive...that saber is sweet BTW. I was wondering about that.

I just had to make fun of the lens flare b/c it's sort of an inside joke in my design classes. I still think it's sweet. And I don't know where all the stupid ass banter about photoshop came from

I haven't seen the new Star Wars yet, but maybe once I do and when I have the time I will take up your challenge.

Holy shit man... I dont know where the fuck you get those parts around your house. You must have shitloads of whistles and doo-dads. I couldn't even find household parts to make a pipe.

the hilt is made out of a simple sink pipe. at the bottom of the hilt is a shower head, the grip is pvc pipe that i cut and then coted with spay-on rubber and so on..
