Q: Why is this in the Artist's Corner?
Because it can't go anywhere else and Art is open to interpretation so this could technically be "art". See what I did there?
Yeah, so I believe most people know that November 11, 2011 is the only day that occurs once every century where you can write the date as 11/11/11. Apparently its supposed to be lucky. But I have absolutely no idea what stupidity that started from. I'm starting to believe that its just one guy who invented the lucky "4 leaf clover" and number 7 ideas. However, there probably is a reasonable historic explanation for this.
By the way, I tried this thing ridiculous thing that my teacher suggested as the ultimate coffee buzz.
The Recipe?
- 1 Cup of Coffee
- 1 Cup of Hot Chocolate
- 5 Sugar Cubes
Step 1: Blend All of this together. Step 2: Profit!
So I tried it this morning and I swear I'm actually shaking, this was not a good idea. I feel anxious, jittery, hyper and a bit sick.
But I should have known. This guy has 5 of these a day (he told me) and it constantly looks like he has ADHD or something. At first I thought it actually was ADHD, but now I know its this ridiculous Caffeine and Sugar Beverage.
I actually did the math.
Coca Cola Caffeine Content: 34mg per Can.
Red Bull Caffeine Content: 80mg per Can.
Coffee Caffeine Content: 150mg per Cup.
Hot Chocolate Caffeine Content: 9mg per Cup.
150mg + 9mg = 159mg of Caffeine!
159mg x 5 = 795mg of Caffeine per day!
Now for Sugar:
Coca Cola Sugar Content: 50g
Hot Chocolate Sugar Content: 20g
Sugar Cube Sugar Content: 5g
Since 5 Sugar Cubes are put in the drink:
5g x 5 = 25g
20g + 25g = 45g of Sugar!
45g x 5 = 225g of Sugar in a day! Or 45 Sugar Cubes! That's 3x the daily intake of sugar of the average American in just those drinks!
