      Grip Her In Pull

Well, this past weekend I finally finished a piece I had been slacking off on for a while - I thought I'd share.

It's somewhat a cause for celebration because I've been wanting to get into some other projects but this one pice has been "hanging over my head" for sometime - now I can move on.

      Enjoy!
(images are a bit washed out and out of focus - I just snapped some quick shots with my camera)

      GripHerInPull ("Gripper in Pool")

Bonus image: Here's the previous piece I finished earlier this year.

      TwoBeNeatHer ("Two Beneath Her")

OK, THEN, LOOKS LIKE NETSCAPE WEBSPACE IS F**ING WITH ME AGAIN. I'LL TRY AGAIN TOMORROW, SORRY.

Ok, I got the images up, Finally! sheezh! -- one of these days I'll get my own domain and a real service provider.

Anyway, thanks hysteria. These two pieces are done in gouache (opaque watercolor). I like the matte fish you get from it and the way you can go back and rework an area even after it has dried. I'll probably go back to charcoal again for a bit - painting tends to get a bit too time consuming for me.

      Those are gorgeous Joe.

I love the arrow pointing to the chick's crack in the second one.

Really amazing art-work there my friend

      Impressive Stuff......

I really love the attention to detail.

P.S. Are those penis shaped items behind the women in the first image?

Those look really good. Sure is a lot of detail, but that's not a bad thing. I like the second one better, dunno why. In the first one, she's standing kind of weird, with her ass sticking way out, and her shin to her foot seems a bit smaller than it should be.

      Other than that, everything's cool.

Heh, well, sorta. Actually, there is one up in the front. You'll also find it in the second one as well.

Yeah, I somehow lost the gesture of the original sketch during the "cleaning up" process. The sketch looked more like she was struggling to get out of the water. And that leg, definitely had to go back over that a few times. I think it might be because I have her foot pointing a little bit too far inwards, but I wanted it to look like she was stepping out, and not in.

Wow joe.....just, wow. you are so incredibly talented

I admit I know nothing about gouache, but I'm amazed that a watercolor technique can come out looking like that. On this craptop, they look like they were done in ink or something

I love that thing in front of the chic in the first one. looks like a heart and arteries that have merged with a plant or something. Very original stuff, I hope to see more soon
