I've not posted anything in the Artist's Corner for a while now and I thought I may as well post some cartoony comic strips I did. Sponge Beware Sharks Girls Fun Day Out Ambition ~This one I did because I was asking everyone to vote for me in these contests I was entering, I didn't normally do that so I was left feeling... unclean. Let me know what you think.

Simple humour is always the best in my opinion, the ambiguous sort, especially when you have to think about it afterwards - The part that is "in-between" the words/images…..sort of like filling in the gaps i guess. That’s why I love British humour, stuff like Faulty Towers is genius. Like with that "Sponge"strip you did, I wasn’t 100% sure what it was about, but I guess I came to my own conclusions (lol). Like the humour isn’t definite, you have to think about it.

I liked 'Beware sharks', not what you think it's going to be when you first read the title, and 'Girls Fun Day out' that made me laugh... The sponge i didn't get...

That Sharks one was classic in an ironic way. The Girls one made me think of Thelma and Louise, what with them going off that bridge like that... Great work, as usual, keep it up, Aphius!

I just don't like it when I have to explain a joke to someone. Hey everyone, guess what? I just got the sponge comic printed in my universities monthly magazine! I entered it into a comic competition they were running and I was unanimously voted the winner! I won a $180 MP3 player from the campus compuer shop too. 'Beware Sharks' and 'Girls Fun Day Out' are going to be printed in the next two issues. I'm pretty stoked about it.
