Thread: 'Time is only numbers'

Okay, long time since i had a poem on here.
It's dedicated to someone who has the ability to stop time when i'm with them.

Time is only numbers
Tick, Tock.
Time is only numbers.
A hand on a dial, a digital
readout at four twenty.

don't measure time in
hours, minutes, seconds.
Measure it in moments,
Tender looks, hugs and kisses.

Your hand in mine, the
sunlight on your face.
My skin burning under your
touch.

This is what time is to me.
Time is you, me, us.
Time is the only enemy,
Taking us apart.

its very beautiful. It sounds like ti could the lyrics to a song in a musical like Rent or something. Good job I love it.

Your poem could not describe why life is worth living any more than it does!

thanks for your comments guys. I guess that's why i go on living. for the sake of loving someone.
