I have a similar problem. If I can see something, I can draw it pretty good. But, if I try to picture something and draw, it usually ends up horrible. |

i'm pretty much at the same point as you guys are. i can see something in my mind pretty vividly, but i can't seem to get it down on paper right. i used to be one of the best drawers when i was in lower grade school and now i'm terrible. i've been looking to my dreams for inspiration. |

my advice man is just grab a pencil and just go but very light and fast, then if you have to go over it again it wont matter you will eventually get what you want |

I think it is a great idea to build the mental image on paper with circles rough circles will help you get the shapes then you go over them with a stronger line to detail.......... then also as ever practice pratice pratice.......... I have been a pro artist for a long time and i still have not been able to master drawing exact imagination images however when you get close it is amazing what can be produced.................. all the best |
