Well, when a while ago, I was really bad at drawing. Since I lack really any motor skills ( ) my drawings sucked so badly. But, in Grade 7, I realized I was really good at drawing people's faces in satire (which hilariously enough was me trying to draw a person good! . Using my signature purple permanent marker, I would draw people's faces. It would look really realistic, but slightly deranged and funny, especially the noses. I also was able to draw pictures of things I could see close up, like a picture from a book or a pen. When I graduated grade 8, I managed to win (among other awards) the ART AWARD! I walked up to the stage and me and my entire family and my friends were like WTF? I'm usually your typical math computer guy.....
But the problem is I'm terrible at drawing images from my head. For example, a dream. Usually when my mind wanders and I think of something, the visualizations can get very realistic, especially when I'm very tired. When I try to visualize on purpose I can barely do it. It's hard for me to get an image on paper from my head, since the visualizations are so unclear, especially with my eyes open, and it's hard to keep the images consistant.
Any suggestions?
