Photoshop Tennis

I recently read an article on wikipedia about photoshop tennis. Basically, one person posts an origninal, and people who are playing take turns making modifications until everyone has gone x times, and then whoever did the best ones wins. I would like to do a photoshop tennis competition here, so if anyone is interested respond, and if enough people do (at least one), I'll find a picture and we can start. Here are some possible rules, 1. Be creative! Subtle modifications are just as good major ones, just make it interesting, funny, insightful, etc. (or just plain artistically cool) 2. Post all responses in a decent quality Jpeg of the same resolution as the starting image 3. You may use any image editing software, but you must use some kind of image editing software 4. No excessive violence/sexuality (keep it PG-13, or at worst a moderate R) 5. You have 24 hours to respond to the last modification when it is your turn (this is to keep rounds from taking freakishly long and make sure no one has to wait 3 weeks for their turn)

Sure, I'm in, sounds fun and it's not "for regulars" in the sense of old-time users but allowing only those that can post once a day makes sense for the above mentioned reason. Edit: And Penguin Lord, just a thought, but I'd think it would be nicer to switch that link in your signature to "(Please read this newbies.)" instead of "noobs". -.-

Anyways, all it really means is you can check back on your day (so if you are the fifth person (providing enough people join), then you won't have to check back for a couple days anyways. Really all it means is having email notification on this topic, so you can quickly check back to see if its your turn. Anyways, I have nothing to do, so if you're up for it Merlock, then we can start. Does three rounds each (not including the picture I post) sound good? Lets start off with the base for the dreamviews wallpaper: When you're done post it on imageshack as a Jpeg of the same resolution, and put a thumbnail in your post. Have fun!

Hmm, well, I wasn't quite sure how much would be good to add in one turn so I just added Kuja from Final Fantasy IX simply because it came to my mind at random when looking at that image, hahah. Otherwise, it's a Photoshop saved 12-level quality progressive JPG (level 10 would be smaller but loss of quality isn't the best idea since it'll be edited multiple times again). Oh, and I prefer xs.to to imageshack, heh.

[/b] nice. I would say that that is a good size. There really isn't a limit as long as there's still room to "play". You can do anything really, even cropping is fine as long as you keep the ratio and save it as the same res. You can even rip out just a section of the image, and place it in a totally new one if you want. Also, nice to see you've joined MSG, nice subtle addition. Here's my response: Lets just go to the end of sunday, and judge monday, and just do however many rounds we fit in.

The forum allows attachments of files, including images, which get turned into thumbnails. A common feature but image hosting online fits better here because you never know how large an image will get in size, perhaps, or perhaps because I just don't trust IPB with my files. >.> And, not to be of any offense but I guess that's not what I pictured of the game when I saw the topic first.
