Thread: Poem I wrote... when I was upset..

every song every scent old clothes old pictures old poems old papers....
in old places I cried cold tears....
in cold places I cried old tears...
the old moon the old sunrise the old weather....
my eyes are cold my eyes are blank....
I have no feelings I have no frends...
I stare blankly up at the sky reminisce over old feelings...
old love and old joy..
so full of life it once was and now Im sort of dead....
no sleep at night my eyes are bloodshot red...
theres a monster of feeling boarded up inside of me which maked my eyes intense...
yet still blank in the empty way....
every feeling every thought ..
all the fear is gone....
over you I now cry old tears

I dont care at all ...
and yet I do..
I wish it would all go away...
every single memory is a shard of glass in my heart..
everyday it bleeds...
I sit in this place and stare at the sky...
Im out of reality..
Ive gone somewhere far away..
Im not crazed at all..
kind of hard to explain...
die everyday a painful death....
only to realize Im not really dead....
I stare at you right in your eyes, even when Im not there..
and I know you feel it but dont say it could've been the other way around...
Im trapped within myself.....

Well, I'm no big reader of poetry, and no poet, but I thought it was pretty good.





(It might help to space the lines better, though, in a more readable format. )

I don't usually like sad poetry, but this was good.

I have to agree about the line-spacing though.
