      That is really gorgeous.

How long did it take you?

Wow, just wow. That is seriously impressive.

I, for one, would love to have a higher-res version for use as a background!

      That idea could go places.
It reminds me of a darker or toned down version of a Thomas Kinkade. I personally do not like Kincaid.
Thomas Kinkade goes to the dark side.

Oh JJB, I forgot to ask, is that entirely photoshopped images, or is it partially drawn?

What version of photoshop do you use JJB? What did your original sketch look like, and what photos did you use to create the image / where did you get them?

      Sorry for all the questions.

i wonder if we could all have a crack at going to that place jjb drew and see what we find in the shed, what animals we see on the mountains, what noises come out of the tree, if it is as cold as it looks, what smells can you smell? - this would be great!

      Wow! That's excellent, JJB. I wouldn't mind a high-res version either.

No...I meant a large, high-res image like they mentioned. Big enough for a wallpaper.

That's kinda why I want to see the high-res version, but just from the smaller version...I have to agree that it looks like photography or something modified in photoshop. Just because I know the amount of skill it takes to paint something like that in photoshop by hand. So I'm a bit skeptical...*shrugs*

If I could ask a technical question, how do you photoshop images that you have drawn? What I mean is.. you sound is if you're saying most of the work was done in photoshop.. but it really seems like this image was most drawn. Can most "sketches" be photoshopped to this extent?

      Do you mind "elucidating"

You can but more drawing would have been done using a tablet of some form. Its like a digital pan and paper, which when drawn onto actually is drawn in photoshop, if that makes sense?
