I've started a blog to keep track of thoughts I have that will eventually be incorporated into a book I'm writing on the subject of music composition. hmm interesting stuff; i like 'the ear is always correct' entry. Lots of things to think about in there for prospective theorists... and I guess 'good' is all relative too. Nice!

Thanks guys. I've had so many ideas floating around in my head, that I thought I needed to start actually writing them down. Still a lot more to come, so stay tuned.

woooooh...sorry to dig this up but just read your latest entries. Very, very interesting. "Here are a few things you didn't know belong together.". I like that...but I have a hard time relating it to my contemporary tastes. Definately a good thing to think about. "Too simple; too complex; too Mozart; not commercial enough; not innovative enough.... etc." as an attempted prog. song writer myself...i always find myself comparing my music to my influences. I like your quote. very relatable. Very interesting! keep it up!
