After following some space tutorials, I managed to come up with this: How does it look? What should I improve on?

Nice, slayer! I like the surreal, copper tone. I think there is a little too much haze around the nearest planet, and that the white lighting on it is a little too bright, but it's a cool picture, overall.

you would have probably been able to see blur lines in mine lol Slayer, the only recomendation I have is to maybe make one of the big "stars" a little smaller. But that's it.

The planet can't be in it's current position, if you look on the position of the stars. Gravitational fields and all. Difference Clouds are too appearant.

You should change the four stars in the background go from largest to smallest or smallest to largest.

The four stars are too identical, excluding size. Vary up colour perhaps? Otherwise, trippy.

Doesn't matter-- There are four Celetsial bodies large enough to appear in the picture larger than our sun does on earth-- So the planet would be ripped apart.

About the difference clouds, only people using Photoshop will actually notice it and be able to identify it, but it basically just that it's easy to see that the difference clouds are a single layers that has had parts of it removed and lowered opacity. I wouldn't even consider using difference clouds for this kind of stuff.

I wouldn't even consider using difference clouds for this kind of stuff. I see what your saying. And I'll try to do something different without the difference clouds. I used a different technique for the gas stuff in my signature.
