Warning: Long read because it's supposed to be a story. Is it related to dreams? Could be. It's a prelude to a story about a dream. Let's put it that way.
Two Souls
Long ago, the universe suddenly existed
Because One wished it so.
And suddenly borne from Him, love came to be
Consisted between two souls.
Two souls originally one from One;
Ray from Light, spark from Lightning
From One a wish of love ever-lasting
Two souls fatefully diverged.
From separate ends of the cosmos
Magnetically and suitably their cores constituted
A promise transcends, per millennia
To each other, inevitably to return
The forces of good and evil, the long struggle
Make worlds go round, light and darkness rotate
Day and night, all who see can experience the juggle
The unfortunate in eternal night, can barely pulsate.
Throughout the nettles of war and chaos
Two souls cross paths, emit a resonance
Stranger by stranger form
Regardless cannot disguise familiar essence.
Each play of story, each wield of the sword
Transforms the promise into an army
United battle cries, coordinated battle stances
Alone defeat the gathering of the enemy
Every time, at every catch of breath
Whenever the dread aggregates
Whenever two restarts at one
One and one come together, and it is done.
Eventually, the fighting will have to come to an end
The determination of hearts ache in remembrance
Of a shared, distant Memory. These stars illuminate
The dark skies. Two souls, too, remember and will fight.
They will fight in order to secure their destiny.
Conspiring guests of darkness discover a trick
Attack the thick fiber of Goodness’ might
Souls collapse under the plight of abysmal shadows
One by one, they lose sight of starlight.
Two souls become one.
For one shadows claim
For one battle maintains
In search of the lost beloved
Ages looking, ages losing faith
Victory over time grants immunity
Darkness can no longer spot this one,
Should this one wish to pass among them
Corners of the cosmos lay bare with no answer
Monsters fearfully make way for the powerful
Entrance and exit of the remaining one
Who so frantically continues the search
But to no avail
Starlight begins to fail
Heartbeat too painful to carry on anymore
This one resigns the heart, forevermore.
