      Digital drawing input devices?

      Are there only tablets for digital drawing? Is there anything cheaper than a wacom. They have a low priced thing for $99.00 but that is still too much for my budget.

      I did learn of a company called DigiPro that has some tablets for $40.00 and $30.00 and that is more my price range, has anyone tried these? Anything cheaper?

      Do they just make a pen that works like a mouse that you can use on a mouse pad for $10.00 - $20.00?

      Trying to 'paint' with this mouse is annoying, especially when you don't have a mouse pad and sometimes the thing won't make a proper curve.

      Ha! I can't help with the devices, but I don't have a mouse pad either so I know exactly what you're talking about lol. I use a thin hard backed book as my mouse pad and it works much better.

      I have a wacom graphire 2 that's a few years old and incredibly lightly used that I'll probably never use again. We should talk.

      Yeah, talk to Shift. Anything short of a Wacom is generally not worth the money, despite being much cheaper.
