Depends on your price range. The higher you can pay the bigger the tablet. I got a Wacom Bamboo Tablet, was only 130$ CDN for about an 8" diagonal working space and a mouse. You can get bigger ones for up to $3000 in some stores. But I find a small one is just fine for what I need, and its easier to handle. |

Well, as I said price isn't REALLY an issue, although I do certainly not need a $3000 tablet |

I'm still open for suggestions |

Wacom is generally considered to be the best you can get. Of these, the Intuos4 series are probably some of the absolute best. You can get the small Intuos4 for a bit under your price ceiling, or the medium for a bit over. |

I would suggest getting a WACOM Bamboo, they're 80$ and quite the accessory. I use mine all the time and glad i bought it. If I could i would get the one with the LCD screen built in, but those are MUCHO DOLARES!!! |
