Lets write a fiction novel about a dream world!!!

I think we should call it "The dream world" Or "Fantastic scenario" or something like that.

What we do is, we get all of the abstract thoughts from loads a peoples dreams, we some how put them into a story and form a plot. Then we write the book. It will be a fairy tale like fiction novel. And it will be about this strange dream world.

Lets do it. Gives some weird thoughts example from neil:
Your computer (witch is fustration) has a conversation with your bedroom door (witch is fear)

Or how about you having a hypnogogic picture of you putting cans of the shelf with pictures of your friends on them or something like that.

Now, in this book, maybe, it should be, that these people, are going around, and discovering that their world is all a dream. So they explore all of these strange things, and eventually, take control over the dream. They all fight for battle to be the omnipetent ruler of this dream world. Eventually, extreme terror is realeased and everyone wakes up from the dream to discover that everytime they goto sleep, they will have this shared horror, so the good guys will have to fight the bad guys and win the dream world, and make it stable again so everyone can leave in peace. Holy shit, I just wrote a summary of the whole novel. THIS IS HOW IT IS GONA BE!!!

Start writting your abstract thoughts of stranged creeped out things witch occur in dreams.

Good luck with the story. You could make it that the eventual bad guy was some aspect of the dreamer's self which he feared. (like Jung's 'shadow'). 8)

I already am writing a story that will include lucid dreaming. The main character, Amethyst ( ), uses it to teach herself to use her Talents, but also it gets herself in trouble. *ominous sound* Yes, if I ever finish it, it will be quite entertaining I'm trying to decide whether or not to include DV in it specifically or not.

For me my dreams/lucid experiences cannot really be expressed in words. It is so difficult to convey those feelings...so I prefer to draw and paint my dreams, and even a little CG. But maybe I can do some illustrations for the story when its done.

ps- just look at my sig

      cool!

I think this sounds like a really cool idea, man. I've thought about writing a book about dreamworlds before
but as nina said, it's pretty difficult to describe the types of things that happen in dreams. But I think it can
be done. Practice your poetry. Emily Dickinson - whether or not you like her poems - had a great idea. She
said she wanted to "describe feelings that had no words". This is what a dream-writer would have to do.
Really pinpoint the feeling and nail it down in a few words or verbal images. Writing is crazy. Think about it,
you can relay a message to someone from any time in the future right now just by putting your words down
on some parchment. Think about the timelessness of some writings. All someone has to do is preserve them.
Cool stuff. I say try a short story first to get a feel for writing in dream-style.
Just a friendly reminder to do a reality check. : ) Are you dreaming? How do you know?

good idea but having multiple people writing the storey would be kind of hard, something like a collection of storeys would work better, like u have a bunch of people write stroreys and u put it into 1 book or something
