      Current Projects

What are y'all working on art-wise?

I hope crocheting counts as art.
I recently made a choker for the first time. No pattern, just made it up as I went along. Unfortunately, it looks like it too lol
But now that I know a little more about what I'm doing, I'm going to try again.

      Here's my current choker:

      Thank you.
I wish I could figure out knitting, but it boggles my brain.

I love the piano! I wish I could read music and play better.
      Much success on your endeavors

      Nice.

I have done some sewing, make some clothes a while back. Got complements on stuff. Did a little macrome--don't even remember how to spell it. Woodwork, metalwork. Nothing fancy. Crafts actually are a demonstration of what one has learned in the art of thinking.

Right now I have been concentrating on audio-book projects. Did a lot along this line because I wanted to used the finished material for critique, audio-book form. To actually demonstrate the art of critique, how one critiques not by opionion but by rules of art--standards. Opinion means nothing, it is the finding and employing rules of art that I have been centered on. This is why I have done plenty of ebooks and audiobooks for critique, but never have done the critique. It is still all in my head, mostly, because I want to be sure of the principles, and be sure I can explain them adequately.

Ultimately, that is what one strives for--end game, that the results of our expressions--every thought and deed, as a sentient being, is the results of our own craft. We craft our own life.

I've been working on my singing, and on my writing. A ways back I was working on drawing, and I'll get back into it, but right now my mindset is perfect for writing music.

ahaha, thanks Flash for the smile and encouragement.
I've not worked on any crocheting lately. I've been too busy cleaning, rearranging and spray painting a wall in my office. I think I still have black paint in my nose lol

      What do you write, MindWanderer?

Some poetry and some songs. Mostly messing around. I have a thread in "Artist's Corner" that has a few originals... and I'm working on more today too.

Critique is difficult for me to understand as being artistic. It's too ??? structured? But it's not a topic I know a lot about.
I love poetry. I used to write a lot of poems and a few songs. I'll have to check out the Artist's Corner again. It's been a long time since I've visited.

I broke down and made another choker tonight. I tried working with beads and I really like the finished result. Next time, though, I'm going to use non-magnetic beads lol.

Here it is (the pics crappier than usual ):
