Last night I must have consumed about half a bottle of red wine, I think, at a hog roast.

Pretty quick my limbs felt numb and my brain felt big, my sense of coordination went, I couldn't focus on anything without extreme effort, and I was doing stupid stuff which seemed funny at the time (running around and things).

As soon as I got home the numb feeling started to make me feel sick, so I went outside and lay down on the cold concrete path for... what seemed like a while.

Then I sicked up all of the alcohol out of me.

It's seven hours and a dreamless sleep later now, and I'd like somebody to tell me:

Why the hell do people get drunk?

Also, I'm sure I should be cursed with a hangover like everybody else, but this hasn't happened. So, tell me:

Why don't I get hangovers?

Thanks, old people.
