Thread: tell me a few odd things about yourself.

I can call loons.

When I sit down somewhere, I have to have the whole view of the room. I cant just sit in the middle and not know whats going on in the back haha. So on dinner tables I always sit on the end, you know the last end. (or whatever it's called)

I have a mirror phobia too. I refuse to look in the mirror if the room isnt complately lighted. Also at night I just hate looking in the mirror. I feel like Im going to get trapped in it. haha

Like DodoBird, I cry over anything. lol

But more weirdly, I cant cry in front of anyone. I have to cry alone. When Im with someone or people, the tears just dont come out. But I'll cry buckets when Im alone. lol

I dont know how weird or normal this is but:

I am an artist by nature, and i tend to design things in a unique manner. if i wanna design, lets say for example a dress, i'll go flip thru a catalugue or online gallery. then i close my eyes and see all these images of dresses (not the same as the ones i looked at, but dresses my brain spontaneously designed) most of these images go by so fast i cant ''catch it''. but there's always a few that linger long enough that i can ''catch'' it and commit it to memory. these spontaneous designs are quite crude at first, but i can develop it. i actually develop the design of the dress, if i want to turn my mind to other things, i simply banish the design. later when i wanna work on it some more i can recall it and it is the same way it was when i left off.
i dont always have time to transfer the images to paper, thus i have nearly a hundred designs stored in my memory: clothes, lingerie, sculptures, drawings.
i just recently drew a picture I've kept in my head for the past 4 years.

sometimes when i start to fall asleep, i get into this altered state, and my bain begins composing songs-complete with lyrics and music. i always forget them after i sleep and wake up. but i guess there's a rocker chick in me somewhere ,loool. Interestingly enough, I suck at poetry.

I piss people off at the game of chess, royally (just found that out today )...

No matter what accent I try to imitate, it usually turns into a swedish one. O.o

Also, i enjoy weekend mostly because i get to wear jim jams all day...not because i get to sleep in.

Ok, a few more...

I can do a flawless imitation of Forrest Gump.

I can try, but I can never sleep in past 9 A.M.

Also, my friend is double-jointed in her elbow, so she can bend it both ways. I am still somewhat freaked out at this, even though i've known her for about 5 years.

I had a unique way of growing up, I was raised on the planet Zaa. my mum needed to tell me stuff about 1,000,000,000 times. Lol

I sit with windows to my left. Or in front of me. Never, EVER, or insanely rarely, is a window behind me or to my right.
So one time, I intentionally sat with a window to my right. It just didn't feel right. At this very moment, my bedroom window-
is to my left.
I also have a tendency to start singing Michael Jackson songs when school ends. I moonwalk out the doors yelling "BEAT IT! BEAT IT!"

i dont like anything sharp or pointy near my wrists.

i dont like the veins on my hands. You know, the ones that you can see. I always think that if somthing bumped them too hard they will collapse or somthing.

i dont like the feel of cement on my feet.

I used to catch bees and tie threads around them. then they would fly around on a leash.

i like the cold. When its really cold outside i like to roll the windows down on my car and drive down the freeway to see how cold i can get.

i hate needles. Not regular ones like sewing needles, the ones doctors use for shots and stuff.


i cant sleep when its light outside. No matter how dark the room is, no matter how tired i am. It needs to be dark for me to sleep. Thats why the graveyard shift at work sucked to bad


i have a fear of any spider that is bigger than 1/2 inch across. Especially the ones with really long legs. Probably because one crawled up my pants when i was a kid, and there was one that was about 6 inches long that crawled through my window, last year, Im constantly waking up with spider bites, and this one time i dropped somthing on the ground, and when i went to grab it, there was a huge spider right next to me. I hate them. Even just thinking about them makes me shudder.

I like shots. I look forward to receiving them, actually. A drastic change from when I was a kid, though.

If I see a garder snake on the ground, I will chase it and catch it and pick it up. I've done this since I was little.

Normally nothing, rubber or cardboard. Goes to most other foods aswell as i have taste problems. Well....i cant say i dont taste it completely, the taste comes and goes

I like gettin gmy blood taken...it feels so cool.

Eating raw onions makes my ears burn.

I can't stand anything near or in my eye.

I have large pupils so not wearing sunglesses like....24/7 can cause cataracts. Also it causes me to have intense night vision.

I don't mind sharing food with people, but if anyone mentions saliva being on whatever is in my mouth, I will gag and refuse to eat it.

I am crazy and a huge people person, but I am more shy than you could imagine.

I always have to scan a room when I enter it. Ceiling, floor, walls, corners. For insects... *hates them*

I also scan my room just before turn off the lights to sleep. That is a MUST do; in that order. Or else I can't sleep, lol.

I don't like getting wet (besides showers and the such). I have a fear of having my head under water in a pool or something. I especially hate attempting to float... I always fail because I can't stand the water just bordering my face and eyes. Freaks the hell outta me.

I have an obsession of looking in the mirror to look at myself. Even when I'm feeling crap and ugly, I still look.

The eyes, are the windows to the soul.

well hmm, I hate the feeling of using dried up markers *shudders*
I will do all in my power to save a spider by some marauding arachnaphobe, hmmm if im not asserting my self to anything i stop everything i do ... like blinking and swallowing and practically breathing ... like i go into a aware coma? .... ya i try not to droll though .
