Tell me about..your fingers

Look at your right hand, straighten out your fingers and now look at your ring finger and index finger. Tell me if they are the same length, or if one is shorter/longer then the other.

And yes, there is a point to this I will reveal later..if anyone knows, don't spoil it because I want honest answers.

Index finger is slightly longer, but it isn't as crooked at my ring finger. See, all my fingers are crooked since birth. No way to really tell, but I think if my ring finger was straight it would be longer.

Almost exactly the same size. Index finger is maybe half a millimetre bigger. I looked like an idiot for at least 8 seconds examining my hand so minutely... what Daeva's got to say had better be good!

I can make each of them longer than the other. I'd say they're just a long, maybe ring finger having a little milimeter extra.

I have a very good feeling that this is ring finger/index finger length and gender.
In males, the ring finger is longer than the index finger. In females, it's vice versa.
