I couldn't give a rats patootie about my resume lol all I'm worried about right now is my bachelors/masters degree and enjoying myself.

Why not? :p
Seriously though I'm looking at California, Florida and Hawaii. My brother lives in LA, so I'm getting my info on Cali from him, and I have 2 friends/a lot of experience in Florida, so I'm getting that info there. I don't know anyone from Hawaii.
Reasons I want to go to Hawaii:
I can't stand the cold weather and I realize that winter is a (small, albeit significant) contributor to my weight problem. I stay in the house all winter, I rarely leave but during the summer I'm never indoors, always out and about, I barely ever gain weight in the summer. So activity and weather for one.
Also, college, UH @ Oahu is a great school and residents(live there for a year or more) have such minute tuition its like a sin. I'm paying 3,000+ for Community college right now, and UHO is about 3,000 a semester for an accredited 4 year university.
Botany is a huge interest of mine, and what better place than Hawaii?
Same goes for marine life, I love learning about fishies and such, marine biology is one of the top subjects they offer.
My dad's originally from Atlanta, and we would go visit his family like once a year, and we'd always go to Florida too, and I love the beach.
Hawaii has a steadily increasing film industry, and I want to work in da pikchas someday, I'd like a close connection to the industry without the fake and smog that is LA.
Speaking of smog, the environment, clean air, and such.
No real natural disasters, aside from the occasional eruption of Kilauea, and I won't even be going to the Big Island except to visit. I want to live on O'ahu, which has no active volcanoes. The occasional weak hurricane comes through, but there's only been 6 hurricanes since 2000 to have any real affect on anything there.
