Thread: Tell me about South Korea

Just... please, anything you know. Other than the fact that there are some very pretty people over there.

The play Starcraft there.

They play it damn well.

Lots of South Koreans live in Vancouver and related areas.

Everything is 'smaller' than it is in the States.

my brother lived there for 2 years while being in the army. We went to visit there for two weeks. I guess its pretty interesting that all the apartments and older buildings look bad from the outside but are great on the inside. Also, they eat a lot of Kimchi and other really spicy food. I love it but it might be too much for some people.

People will run red lights if there is no one coming the other way. We stopped at one and someone actually went out on the shoulder and around us to run the light. lol.

Most of the people were pretty nice to us but some ran in to us intentionally for being americans. Not very many though.

and yes, you can actually watch people play starcraft on tv there. quality stuff.

Oh yeah, Kimchi. If you're going there for a long time, or maybe even at all you might want to develop a taste for it. It's really good though, if you like spicy food you shouldn't have a problem.

I predict you will come back dressed as a night elf, relentlessly waving a Blizzard flag.

That's the kind of change you can only undergo on a trip to a foreign country...

You should really go for it! The experience is going to be spectacular. Also, people are hawt.

I plan to do the same, only in France.

Oh and apparently Koreans are much more welcoming to foreigners than the Japanese are. I did consider Japan, but this bit of information is making me glad I chose otherwise.

But I'm still expecting the first few weeks to be TOUGH.
