Thread: tell me about your favorite beer

mmm i like Pacifico. it's like a more full bodied corona.

there was also a winter harvest something blue moon that was good.

For me I would have to say Staropramen. It's a Czech beer and is lovely to drink in the summer! Also Peroni is a nice beer!

I love my cider too, things like Koperberg are good, or locally made cider from the farms!

I love any dark ales and pale ales.
Arrogant Bastard Ale is my all time fave
Shiner Black Bohemian
Raging Bitch Pale Ale
Sierra Nevada
And Miller High Life just cuz its cheap as hell

Any russian beer as its well cheap

Well, I grew up with kokanee... so that's kinda my 'standard' beer. But just a few months back I decided to try a new beer and picked up some Maudite strong beer on lees 8% and I love it. Maudite also has light beers, apple flavored beers etc. but I just stick with the 8%. It tastes a bit like how paint smells, but the taste grows on you for sure. Plus they only come in 750ml at around 6 bucks... so two bottles will last me all night.

I still usually stick to kokanee though.

It is beer. It starts with an S. It comes in a bottle or a can. Sometimes it comes in a glass.

If you ever see this beer... buy it.

Man I love all New Belgium beers especially Trippel and Mighty Arrow. Ive never seen Abbey before is it one of those beers you can only find at whole foods?

I don't remember what brand it was, but at my boyfriend's house we had this "summer wheat" beer and I think it had some long german name. It tasted to me like fruit loops.

Was it Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat?

Trippel is my second favorite New Belgium beer. I like Abbey just a little bit better. It's very similar (they are obviously both belgian style ales), but Abbey is a bit darker and a tad less hoppy, more of a belgian brown than a belgian blonde. My perception is that they are both about equally common, but then I live within driving distance of the New Belgium brewery (brag brag) so that's probably not representative data for the rest of the country/world.

Fat Tire is so fucking overrated. It's a boring beer.

Just asked my boyfriend, it was Henry Weinhard's Summer Wheat.

Darker than Trippel? That sounds delicious. I'll keep my eyes open for Abbey.
Ya I consider Fat Tire a light beer, its ok but I prefer the dark hoppy brews and Fat tire is neither.

@Dianeva Ive never heard of that, its sounds good though.
