The thing people remark on the most about me is my charisma.

As far as physically, I've often just heard that I'm "good-looking," but nothing really too specific, aside from my smile.

It depends if you're a man or a woman. For a woman it's tall for a man, well it's on the less than average scale. The average height for US male is I believe 5'9" or 5'10".
Honestly, I'm only 5'2" and I would consider a guy that's 5'8" as short.

Well I'm a girl, that's what she was referring to.

A prof of mine (really short guy, totally insecure) told me the average height of a US male was 5'8? I dunno, I feel like looking it up now.

Edit: Oh never mind, looks like it's 5'9... AND 5'10? God damn these contradicting sources.

Edit 2: Looks like guys from the Dinaric Alps (wtf?? Haha... apparently that's near Croatia) average at 6'1. WOW.

I'd say my physical appearance cause it's always the first thing people are attracted to.

People tell me I'm strange all the time. I've never really known if they see it as a good thing or a bad thing.

I chose this "trait" because it's simple. With personality traits, you never know: to each their own.
But good hair is likely to appeal to a much greater circle of people.

To be perfectly honest, long hair (especially depending on one's definition of what is long) can be connotative with more things than a care-taker. Not to seem insulting, but long long hair can be seen as a reflection of an individuals laziness to get it cut, a reflection of being stuck in the past, and so on and so on. Just because you figure others should see it like you do does not make it so. Maybe some, but definitely not all.

That would be like me saying, "Well, I really liked my blue mohawk because I thought it was a wondrous display of artistic flair, so I imagine others must think the same," when I know for a FACT that a lot of people simply viewed me as another stereotypical skinhead punk trying to prove something to the world.

I'm not jumping on the fact that you have long hair, just your implication that long hair = good hair = sex for everyone. And hey, I used to have long hair, too.

Dinaric Alps stretch across the Balkans and yes, that's true. I'm teased that I'm short with 5' 10" and, believe it or not, there are many girls who are taller than me.

I've been told by what I think are too many people that I'm weird, and am not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing. It could go either way.

Oddly enough, girls seem to think I have soft hair and have spontaneously burst into rubbing my head because of that.

As for myself, girls seem to like my easygoing yet slightly flirtatious teasing, and the way I hold doors for them and generally behave as a complete gentleman.

Personally, I think the only thing I have going for me are my eyes and that I'm somewhat slender... since I've gained weight, my boobs have gotten bigger (WOOHOO!), but there still nothing spectacular lol.

In the past people have tended to be attracted to me because I carried myself with an air of mystery and a slight "damsel in destress" ??? atmosphere (?) that make some men want to rescue me.
When my hubby met me, I was a stripper. While all the girls were hustling the guys for their last dollar and wore hardly any clothes on the floor, I sat at the bar alone, improving my vocabulary with some electronic device I used to have. And I always told the guys not to go crazy on me, but to save some of their money so they could come back and see me again. I was lucky to make $20. a night in tips from dancing while my hustling best friend could bring in a check of $250. a week from drink and Private sales**. And I always dressed modestly (though still sexy) while on the floor. Hubby says those things are what attracted him to me.
(**Granted, the Club was in a horrible location and had hardly any traffic).

My loyalty, kindness and empathy attract people to me, but it's more as a best friend or a shoulder to cry on than something sexually appealing.


I LOVE deep voices. Even women who have a sexy feminine deep voice [what is that called?] gives me goosebumps.
And I'm attracted to people who carry themselves with an air of security and confidence. Looks mean VERY little to me. I guess I so often felt the need to be rescued and protected when growing up that it stuck with me even though I'm no longer the doormat I once was lol

Close second: big blue/green eyes. The inside of my eyes are green, surrounded by some blue

5' 10" isn't THAT bad (I think you know that), but I know a guy in my grade who SAID that he is 4' 10". That's what I call short. Does that make you feel better? I think he's the shortest guy I know
