      Tell me about mud bogging

      Every weekend, in the summer, I drive by a big sign that says'
      "Mud bogging next right." I see other jeeps and off road vehicles covered in mud driving out of the area. I want to do this in my Wrangler sometime but I'm afraid I'll get stuck. Is this an organized event where you pay money to off- road in mud? What happens if you get stuck?

      I'm pretty sure you're gonna want to modify your Jeep before you purposely drive it into a pit of mud.

      "Off road" vehicle or not, it wasn't made in the factory to be able to do that.

      Thanks....I later googled mud bogging and saw it was some kind of contest for people with much bigger tires than my snow tires. Guess I'll find have to find "fun in mud" at some other place.

      Any 4 wheeler can handle the basics of wheeling in mud, especially a wrangler. If your jeep is super nice then I wouldn't recommend it but otherwise its balls to the wall! I love going out with my boyfriend, although he has a custom toyota wheeler. Wranglers do decent enough, everyone gets stuck just make sure you go with a group and that someone has a winch

      its called "mudding" over here, you gotta give it a try! if you dont have a winch just bring a come-along and you'll be fine.

      How 'bout--- "just make sure you go with a group and someone IS a wEnch"....That fits my buddies and I perfectly. I must go mud bogging with them! (My buddies and I always jokingly refer to each other as "wench"...hehe)
