Tell me how to regulate my internal temp better ETC

Me and my infernal health curiosities lol

To kill some time at the end of my pdoc appointment, I posed a question to him: "My husband says I'm crazy, so perhaps you can help settle a disagreement... Whenever I become physically overheated, my temperature goes up. Hubby says that's impossible, that I must be otherwise sick to spike a fever. But the thermometer shows I am spiking a fever and I know it's not because I'm sick but overheated. So, who's right?"

He went on to ask me questions about heating a house (central air and heating). "Once a certain temperature is reached what happens?" The heat turns off. "What if the regulator is broken?" It keeps running lol

So, both hubby and I are right.
Pdoc then goes on to say that medication can sometimes mess up a persons regulator, but other times it comes right out of the "factory" broken

Then he made a connection I never would have thought of. He said I may have problems regulating my temp because of my Ehler's Danlos Disease.

So, I researched it and found a bunch of interesting asides.
It seems something called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia (or POTS) affects a lot of people with EDS.
I ran a test on myself. I had been sitting for a good 30 minutes and took my blood pressure. It came back as 139/96 with a pulse of 109.
Then I stood up and took it. It came back, interestingly enough, as 112/88 with a pulse of 131.
I sat down and took it again right away. It was 130/98 with a pulse of 112.

While very interesting, I never found anything about regulating my temp more easily. I have literally woken up with a temp of 102 and it takes a long time for it to come down naturally. Anyone know of any foods perhaps or other remedies for resetting our internal thermostats?

Also, does anyone know much about Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia other than what Wikipedia says? It seems to me that my "adrenaline surges" (or "anxiety-attacks when feeling no anxiety) could just as easily be attributed to POTS.

And why did my blood pressure DECREASE but pulse INCREASE when I stood up? It seems to me it should be the other way around.

If you read all of this and thank you

Eat cold foods. I know that sounds simple, but it's true. Drink cool drinks.

There is a way I know to generate internal heat if you ever want to do that called yogic breathing. Ashtanga yoga generates a lot of heat.

A million thanks. I will have to try that throughout the day.
      I'll even look into yoga.
Now that I'm living at the Farm and there's an AC right above the couch I sleep on, it's not so bad. I just crank the AC up to high and point the vent downward.
My temp still spikes, but I'm rarely drenched in sweat anymore.

It sounds like there is something wrong with your internal fire. Maybe you are not expending enough energy. I suggest consulting a qigong practicioner.
