Thread: Tell me about being a Foreign Exchange student

Hi, I have been a foreign exchange student for a year in 2002 and we hosted
quite a few. I'm from germany and I was in Minnesota. Since there would be
quite a lot to tell, you'd have to be more specific.

But what is it like? It totally depends. The family, the area, the country.
I changed families three times (mandatory for variety) and they were
three different experiences basically. BUT you will always take something
with you, or grow during the experience. Go to a country you want to
learn the language from.

What organization? I went there over the Rotary Club, mainly because my father
is a member. But there are quite a few options.
