      It's just like any other European language. They just use different symbols. Which isn't that much of a problem either: the Greek alphabet and the Roman alphabet are a lot alike, because the Roman one was derived from the Greek one.

      I'm Greek but i'm no expert in languages, if you have any specific questions i'll probly be able to answer them.

      It's very structured so that makes learning it easier and harder at the same time (depending on how you look at it).
      On another note, Greek and Latin are quite different to eachother.
      As far as uniqueness, i cant really say how it measures, it belongs to the Indoeuropean family of languages (like latin).
