I don't know much about it... but this one time I was in the Scottish Highlands... I forget the town I was in, but they still spoke Gaelic there. All the signs were in Gaelic and I had a very rough time getting around. |

so, basically, I'm Irish (my guess is 80%, with english thrown in) though you wouldn't quite know it by looking at me. My whole family's got a little bit of the Irish pride you can't help but have. Anyways, I was wondering if you could tell me any interesting snippets about the culture or such. Also, a little bit about the language. I'm only fluent in English, but I'm learning Spanish and may learn Latin down the road. I realize these are latin-based languages (Latin, of course, being included), but are they similar? If not, what are the differences? |

It was the best of times. It was the end of times.
It bumped my post, so I guess that helps XD. |

Like Cacophony, I was in the highlands one time. Even bought a book aboud Gaelic after listening to it on a radio station and seeing the road signs. Are there any books and DVD's you can buy? |
