      Tell me about Industrial music

Im really starting to get into it. Any bands/artists I should know about? I wanna listen to some new people but I dont know where to start looking since its pretty underground. You know its not like I can go to FYE and pick out something from the Industrial section since it doesnt exist

      OK. My personal favorite industrial:
      Ministry
      Rammstein
      KMFDM
      Megahertz
      Nine Inch Nails
      Hanzel Und Gretel

      Look them up on youtube!

Apart from industrial metal there are other sorts of industrial:

      - Rhytmnic industrial (dancable technobased. Very harsh music, blows most industrial metal out fo the water)
Bands to check out: Winterkalte, The Peoples Republic of Europe, Asche, 100 blumen, Maschinenkrieger 54 vs Disraptor, Greyhound, W.A.S.T.E.
      - Powernoise (does not have rhytmns, buy hints on it with drones or pulses. Sometimes people name rhytmnic industrial also powernoise)
Check out: Haus arafna, Subliminal, Suthcliff Jugend, Genocide Organ, The Grey wolves.
      - Industrial hardcore (very fast gabber/hardcore house)
Check out: E-Noid, Rude awakening, The stunned guyz, Peaky pounder.
      - Electronic Body Music (does not belong to industrial, but is dubbed "industrial" quite alot)
Check out: Front 242, VNV Nation, Grendel, Suicide Commando, Hocico, Covenant

The original industrial music has to be the band Throbbing Gristle who first coined the term "industrial" in 1975.
Have fun with a shitload of checking out music.
