      WILD - it's a step forward anyways!

Just a little background info, I'm having a hard time remembering dreams lately for some reason, or at least remembering much of them. I've been taking B6 everynow and than, and it seems the only times I take the B6 are the nights I remember a good bit more of my dreams than usual. I haven't had a GOOD LD in over a year. My last brief nanosecond LD was around xmas, during a nightmare, when I moved my hands over my eyes to change something terrifying (it was so frightening I don't even remember it)

I've been trying to practice WILD or WBTB on the nights I can get to bed earlier. I woke up last night after about 5-6 hours sleep when my husband's alarm went off, and figured I'd get up. Came downstairs, had a glass of pepsi, took 100mg pill of B6 and went online for about 45 minutes than went back to bed.

I was really tired, my body was so tired it felt heavey, but my mind was awake for quite a while as I lay there. I couldn't even tell if I had fingers, my hand felt like one huge plate lol At one point I felt more awake, and thought to myself that it wasn't going to work, I wasn't going to be able to get back to sleep. But the next thing I know, is my eyes are opening within a dream and I knew I was dreaming right away. I can't even remember what I saw when I opened my eyes, but immediately I felt the dream fading, I tried to spin, but it was too late.

This was my first sucessful attempt at a WILD. It wasn't much, but it's a step forward!

Oh and another thing for anyone else who's taking B6 - I know it makes dreams more vivid and easier to recall, but do you find that you dream about REALLY odd things? Things you don't normally dream about? The night's I've taken B6, I've dreamt about falling out of an airplane, a strange man levitating me, climbing up the side of my house like spiderman and holding onto the roof edge while I examined it! and huge supersized pizza's!! 2-3 times the size of a large pizza! Those are really unusual for me.

      Congrats on the step forward!

And yes I do have out of the ordinary dreams while on B6 sometimes. I also find it really helps with my dream recall. Last night I did 200mg before bed, got about 6 hours of sleep and recalled 5 dreams in really good detail.

      Thanks

I once tried 300mg before bed and got wacky dreams all night long, more than I've ever had before. Very vivid too. But I still never went lucid during any of them. I don't think I can count on recognizing that I'm dreaming, I think WILD is my best bet for getting a LD.

Congrats on the WILD! That's a real accomplishment. I don't take much B6, maybe 50mg, two or three times a month in combination with Melatonin. I notice a large increase in dreams and vividness, however, it doesn't seem to help my lucidity any

There shouldn't be much of a difference from 50mg to 700mg.. i'd recommend stayin lower though.. (i noticed after pullin 700mg a night.. was feelin REALLY strange the day after, and on about day 3 my hands started to tingle a bit.. so i layed off the stuff.. i've noticed affects with doses lower then 10mg before sleep.

I think I'm going to stay with 100mg (that's what the pills are) at least until I end up needing another bottle and look into getting a lower dose to see how those work. The time I took the 300mg (which is the highest I've taken) I like you felt REALLY weird the next day. I can't say it was a bad weird, but I could deffinately tell something was 'off' and not quite right. Hard to describe it, but it was almost like an edgy caffeine high or something.

B6 is a vitamin.. i believe there is information on it in the howtos. In addition to being a dietary supplement, that you need a certain amount of, it also increases brain activity, and in many cases, causes LDs.. (strange ones usually too)

I'd say that a prolonged dosage of 200mg or less should be fine.. Its also fine if you wanna take 500mg in one night.. But i wouldn't recommend more.. because it does make you feel weird, and doses of over 300mg a day for awile can cause TEMPORARY nerve damage. (like numbness in the hands.. that sorta thing)

I dont have any B6 vitamins but I ate like 2 bananas last night and had about 10 dreams. Only 3 of them were long ones though.
They were weird ass dreams too... I was in Doom .... The world started to end .... and I got in a car crash but was fine / started laughing

Good job with the dreaming, but don't take too many pills. I am seriously worried about the effects these pills may have on your future. You never know what they could cause. I'm not saying Melatonin is horrible and wrong and I bet you all use your own wise discretion, but just really watch out with them. The best way to dream is to find it within yourself.
