      Did I just dream it?

      I was having a dream where i was going to be late. I was running back to my house and nothing weird was happening and i suddenly thought, " I must be having a dream". I looked around me and checked, then looked down at my watch to do a reality check but it was really blurry. I remember even thinking to myself "oh no, i'm gonna stop being lucid in a minute " and i did stop, and the dream carried on as normal. The thing is, nothing really changed when i realised i was dreaming and i'm starting to think that maybe i dreamed that i was lucid instead of actually being lucid. I didn't really feel in control. Is it possible, has anyone else felt like this?

      First off control of a dream is not necessarily the same as being aware that your dreaming..Congrats..you made a small step of awareness and enough to try a reality check..sounds like you had a low level of lucidity for a brief moment..You,ll know when high level lucidity hits you...whammo!!

      its basically what blake said, i have had dreams where i thought about having a lucid dream when i got back to wherever i was going back to...but as he said, you made a small step! just keep on walking.
