      In and Out

Last night I awoke from a dream without moving. I decided to try a WILD, so I held perfectly still for the next few moments. I began to feel myself sinking into my bed, and I tried thinking of a song to test how close I was to dreaming, and the song was very clear in my head. I started feeling the telltale signs that I was transitioning but my anxiety rose as I felt my heart pumping and SP coming on, so I began waking up. But I kept still and began transitioning again. This kept repeating, and I was bouncing in between the waking and dreaming states. I became very close at one point when I gained vision of my closet in front of my bed, and I knew it was my dream closet. This was very eerie, however, and my nervousness brought me back into the waking state once again. At this point, it felt like my head was hurting and I began thinking too lucidly and realized that it would be difficult to return to the dream again. So I turned over and went back to sleep.

Anyone ever have a similar in and out WILD experience?

      Nice signature pic! That's awesome.

And yeh, that's happened to me before. My problem is that once the vibrations come, I have this bad habit of holding my breath. I don't even notice it until it's over.
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

Yes- I had a night in which I had 4 lucid dreams back to back, each one very short and ending with me lying paralyzed in my bed too fatigued to shake myself out of sleep paralysis. There was a point in which I basically said, "okay, I've had enough" and wished to just fall into restful sleep.

Like you mention here, all the dreams were extremely eerie. In addition, they were all very dark and seemed to take place at night time, and there were some moments where as far as I can remember I was seeing both the real world and overlayed dream images.

Probably my most uncomfortable lucid experience.
