      Awareness?

Hey everyone, quick question. I've seen so many LD induction techniques, guides, tutorials ect. Most of them fail to mention the most important part in becoming lucid: Awareness. Waking awareness is the key to having DILDs/MILDs. I speak not from experience but from word of some very good lucid dreamers. Anyway, my question is, is what is truly awareness during the day? Is it just observing the surroundings and stuff or what?

      -Thanks!

Hey there, I've heard of this but wasn't quite sure how to do it. I'm stuck in my own little dream world most of the day. Help would be appreciated

Haha, me to, I'm usually stuck in my head and thinking/day dreaming. Basically paying no attention to the outside world, I'm almost certian this is why I have almost no lucids at all. I'm just looking for the answer for this: What is daily awareness?

Noticing all of those little details help to be more aware, also getting a lot of sleep. Loss of sleep makes you less aware during the day, the more aware you are during the day. The more aware you will be in your dreams (or so I've read).
