sleep paralysis = trouble moving in dream

Last night, i went into sleep paralysis. i tried to transition into an LD and it worked.. kind of.. when i began the LD, i could barely move. i speed was slowed and i felt as though gravity was weighing my body into a fixed position. i tried to look outside and i confirmed the LD was successful because it was all different. but i couldnt leave my room and i could not become fast enough to spin my way out of the situation.

is there an explanation for this?

Once you are under full Paralysis your body will feel numb and you will not be able to move, the easiest ways to transition from SP to a LD is to attempt to roll over or create a character in your dream to pull you out of your body. There are many different techniques.
