Are you constantly thinking in the back of your head as the dream is happening that you will wake up? Chances are if you think you will wake up then you actually do wake up. This happens to me quite often. Try rubbing your hands together or grabbing onto something and focusing on an object and don't think about anything else that will cause you to wake up. It takes some getting used to. About visualizing something and entering a dream, the problem with this is that you either wake yourself up before you enter the dream or you fall asleep and therefore aren't lucid during the dream. It's kinda like a WILD but isn't easy to do right from the start. Just keep making it as real as you can but also keep yourself aware that you are dreaming as it will feel quite real and you will start to believe it is actually happening. -Chase
