      Willing lucidity

Who elese has had success in willing lucidity? Meaning, they wanted to lucid dream so back that they actually got lucid. I'm sure there's a lot of people here that have done this, i just would like to know what you did to get lucid. Not necessarily techniques, but just the desire to become lucid.

Yes I do this a lot. I tell myself "I lucid dream." Any time I think about dreaming or anything that reminds me of getting lucid or dreaming I tell myself this.

This used to happen to me all the time, I'd just get so obsessed that I'd get them spontaneously xD I just thought about it ALL the time and it worked strangely enough...

That's very interesting guys, what i also do to that i learned here, in order to dream about what i want to, is that i think about what i want to dream about all day. I haven't thought about what i wanted to dream about all day in a while, but last week when i did it two days in a row, i dreamt about what i wanted to those two nights. The tutorials here are full of excellent information.

The way i dream about what i want to ( to some extent) is to say to myself "so that i can .....fill in with what you want to do...." Also, someone here told me and i started also doing this mantra "My dreams are lucid and vivid" and i did it yesterday for the first time and i had some lucidity. Well in my dream i said "cause this is just a dream so i can change those things into ripe fruit".. so i think it was lucid a bit,, SO that means the mantra worked.

Topten, that's actually called dream incubation, so it's not technically a lucid dream induction ^^ you can do a search and read up about it.
