So this is a bit of a random post, but I was introduced to LDing in fifth grade by my homeroom teacher, Mr. Bloch (who was awesome in many ways including this one) and he told us that to get started lucid dreaming all we had to do was look at our hands in a dream. He didn't give us ANY further information: just said "Next time you're dreaming, look at your hands." Considering the difficulty I have doing this even when practicing RCs now, I have no idea how it worked - but it did. A couple of days later, I was at my friend's house sleeping over and I was like oh--this is a dream. I should look at my hands.
Has anyone else had experience with brute-force no practice LDs like this? And how do you think this one managed to work??
